Principal, Group Benefits

Jeff Jorth has more than ten years of experience working as a trusted advisor with employers on their Group Health and Welfare plans. He knows that developing a strategic partnership with clients helps drive solutions through teamwork and goal-sharing.

His experience includes alternate funding arrangements, vendor evaluation, diverse employee populations and large multi-state employers. In addition, Jeff worked for two years as a major accounts sales executive for UnitedHealthcare.

Various publications have quoted Jeff as an expert in his field. He has conducted hundreds of employee meetings and orientations regarding employer-sponsored benefit programs, and has made many presentations on Consumer Driven Health Care, focusing on both Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).

Jeff and his team possess the expertise needed to understand the changing environment and to assist employers in analyzing needs, evaluating options, and developing and managing a benefits program that attracts and retains quality employees while meeting the financial targets established.

Jeff is actively involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, United Way, Habitat for Humanity and Nothing But Net Foundation. He is also a member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church and the Nebraska Association of Health Underwriters. He is a graduate of Leadership Omaha, Class 28 (the best class ever!).

In 2006, Jeff was awarded the "Distinguished Alumni Award for Service" by Waldorf College, his alma mater. When he is not busy drafting solutions for his clients, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife (who was his high school sweetheart) and their two sons.

Principal, Human Capital

On the outside, Steve Narans may look like a businessman, but inside he's a rock star. And that star attitude shows whenever he speaks in public. Steve is passionate about his work and he tries to impart that same passion to the business leaders who attend his seminars or meetings.

Steve's unique consulting style allows clients to learn, experience and relate to the real world while having fun during the process. He has worked in diverse industries with venues from small to large organizations. He has a real talent for helping clients break down issues and develop plans that add value to their organization, while helping them become more effective leaders. At his workshops, Steve helps attendees learn to tie skills and knowledge back to their working world, where they can measure their effectiveness and, once again, add value. Steve also facilitates groups in strategic planning, teambuilding and public speaking.

Steve is a member of many professional and civic organizations, including the local and national associations of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). And when he's not working? You'll probably find him playing his Fender Stratocaster, jamming with his son.
